Updated MannaPack Box Bracelet
Made in: Haiti
Artisan Group: Zel Haiti
Artisans in Haiti are turning FMSC MannaPack boxes into a one-of-a-kind bracelet made from recycled FMSC boxes, beads and elastic! Watch the video to see how the boxes become bracelets.
These updated bracelets are made from MannaPacks that are machine-packed. The boxes use larger bags and are great for group feeding programs, such as orphanages and schools. Chances for Children sometimes receives these different boxes, which include less blue printing on them resulting in more natural cardboard colored beads.
Chances for Children also operates a Women's Empowerment Program called Zel Haiti. The empowerment program supports 40 women. After FMSC boxes have been emptied and the meals served to those in need, the women of Zel Haiti come together to handcraft these beautiful bracelets out of the FMSC boxes.
Size: One size fits most.
